Sandra joined The Crowd in 2017 after we heard on the journalist grapevine she could tolerate working with us pesky PRs. She is our chief content creator across all our tech accounts.
Sandra has been writing about technology in one way or another for more than 20 years. It started more as a hobby than a job, playing second fiddle to running information services in various charities. Writing was such fun that she decided to take a year out of managing libraries and focus on it.
That year was a watershed, and Sandra has been a freelance technology writer ever since. She has had the good fortune to work with some of the best known companies, publications and organisations in technology. She also keeps a hand in the voluntary sector doing project management, research, report writing and training.
Freelancing makes for a great work/life balance, leaving time for plenty of hobbies like getting up close and personal with canals in her kayak, playing saxophone and volunteering.
