Getting in with The Crowd

We’ve grown steadily since 2012 and stayed true to a vision that brings together agency best practice with freelancers that have the depth of knowledge you find in-house. To be a good fit for our collective you’ll probably be at account director level or above and have the full package:

  • Be a complete geek in terms of sector knowledge i.e. emerging technologies or FinTech.
  • Be at the top of your game in terms of one or more comms disciplines but not afraid to get your hands dirty. There’s no requirement for pure strategists here.
  • And despite being a freelancer, actually enjoy being part of a team that is genuinely collaborative and supportive. So you need to be communicative and committed.

The perks are fairly obvious: you get to contribute to cool accounts, work as part of a team of diverse, senior professionals, (so you really can go on holiday and not check emails) in a positive and supportive culture, working the hours and days you chose, from home, for great rates.

Current opportunities: we are hiring!

14/03/2021: B2B Tech Media Realtions Freelancer

We are on the lookout for an experienced, part-time, UK tech media relations freelancer to remotely join us at The Crowd working as part of a team on a range of retained B2B tech PR accounts.

Probably at account director level or equivalent with a solid best practise foundation gained in blue-chip house or with a respected agency, you should be able to lead accounts and have a portfolio of great B2B tech coverage that you have achieved for your clients.

A working knowledge of the broad tech media landscape and strong industry relationships within the media covering emerging technologies eg AI, security, cloud, etc combined with a proven pedigree in pitching is what we are after.

If you share a collaborative spirit, want to keep the freedom of a freelance life but combine it with the comfort and security of being part of a team, then why not ping over your best pitch to our founder, Sam Howard and see where it takes us.
