Analyst relations (AR) lead
Eria leads analyst relations services across our full suite of clients. During his career he has driven global AR programmes for some of the biggest brands in the industry and brings 20 years’ experience to the role.
At The Crowd Eria keeps track of industry analyst goings on, ensuring clients meet the right analysts at the right time in their research schedules. He also helps clients build relationships with key analysts who can provide important feedback to help them improve their sales and market reputation.
“With so many types of influencers out there, it is not enough to just shout at analysts. My job is to make sure I understand the key tech trends and position our clients effectively, so the analysts (and in turn their clients) see them positively and as credible vendors in their markets.”
Eria began his tech career as an analyst at Datamonitor before joining Metia’s analyst relations division. He was part of the winning team that landed the Microsoft EMEA and Global Industries AR accounts. As account director, he led a team of eleven AR professionals in London and New York on global AR programmes for a variety of clients, including Microsoft, Hitachi Data Systems, Misys (now Finastra) and Financial Objects (acquired by Temenos).
Always up for a challenge, Eria was the first person to join Sam at The Crowd in 2012. With three kids under the age of six at the time, Eria’s project management skills continued well after he shut the laptop. Now that they are all teenagers, his negotiation skills are also in much demand. It would be fair to say that work is a welcome break.
